About the Role:
As the Senior Project Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation), you will support the Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation in developing the strategic evaluation framework for the Resources Regulator. You will be responsible for delivering high quality evaluation projects for the Regulator to inform strategic decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills and with an ability to work both independently and with others, you will fit in well with the rest of highly motivated Monitoring and Evaluation team.
To be successful for this role, you will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various key stakeholders.
Essential requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and or tertiary qualifications in evaluation, research and analysis or regulatory compliance-related field.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives including knowledge of evaluation processes, methodologies and techniques.
- Experience in statistically analysing large, multiple sets of complex data.
- Demonstrated skills in using a range of research-related computer applications such as Excel, Tableau and Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience preparing meaningful analytical reports for publication.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by written reports or peer reviewed publications, research proposals and presentations.
