Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
Deadline: Wednesday, 31 October 2018
Are you highly motivated, organised, professional, and experienced in providing high quality evidence-based advice?
The Policy Analysis and Evaluation Branch is responsible for leading the Indigenous Affairs Group’s program of evaluations and providing high quality data analysis and research to support policy that improves the wellbeing of First Australians.
The Branch has several demanding roles which enable the production of high-quality evaluation and policy relevant research. These involve conducting and providing advice on evaluation and undertaking strategic engagement that supports evidence-based policy development.
These roles can be fast-paced, but also involve thinking long-term and across a range of policy and program contexts. You will play an important role in providing high-level evaluation advice to policy and program areas, our regional network, the executive and the Minister for Indigenous Affairs. You will also be involved in thinking creatively, understanding the broader strategic environment, building strong relationships internally and externally, and communicating with passion and persuasion through various means including writing.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
