Since 1999, The Foundation has been working to close the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Working closely with our partners in regions across Australia, our Indigenous Australia Program team works to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples can always exercise their rights to sight, good health and self-determination.
Over the next 5 years, we are determined to deepen our impact in preventing blindness and restoring sight of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our initiatives are strongly aligned to Strong Eyes, Strong Communities – the Five Year Plan for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health and Vision, developed by Vision 2020 Australia.
The Team Leader – Program Quality is accountable for ensuring a high standard of program development, monitoring and evaluation within the Indigenous Australia Program. In this role you will lead a small technical team (3) to help us evaluate, learn from and improve our programs to ensure quality and enhance our impact. This role is ideally located in Darwin; however, we will also consider Melbourne and Sydney.
The success of our program is reliant on people who can work successful alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and partners, therefore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.
