Volunteer with Disaster READY!
Use your monitoring and evaluation skills to strengthen disaster preparedness across the Pacific and Timor-Leste.
The Australian Volunteers Program and the Australian Humanitarian Partnership (AHP) are working together to deploy volunteers with partner organisations associated with the Disaster READY program in the Pacific and Timor-Leste.
Five volunteers will work across AHP's Disaster READY partner organisations in Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
These five volunteers will work together to strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems across the Disaster READY program. Volunteers will also support local colleagues to build their organisations capacity in monitoring and evaluation, project coordination and reporting.
Disaster READY volunteers can expect to begin their assignments by April 2020.
Key information
- Five volunteers will work across Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
- Volunteers must have monitoring and evaluation experience in a development or disaster management context.
